A day after telling you about Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger possibly getting back together, we hear it isn’t true.
Both were spotted recently donning wedding rings on their appropriate fingers, and unnamed sources have been saying that Shriver is having second thoughts about the divorce, on religious grounds. So we bought into the idea that Arnold and Maria, torn asunder by his dabbling with the maid, were rekindling their scorching romance. Or something like that.
But People magazine has put their crack team of investigators on the case, and the facts (and when we say “facts” we mean “guesses”) are otherwise.
That ring on Shriver’s paw? Her late mother’s engagement ring. Shriver wears it to remember her.
As for those second thoughts?
“The reports of a reconciliation are not true,” a source tells People.
So there you have it. There’s an explanation for everything.
