Friday mid-morning surf with sun and waves

Today's weather getting back to an Orange County winter 68 degrees right about were we like it. This mornings surf was fun with the left overs from yesterdays swell. Smaller tomorrow but new swell looking good for Sunday.

California Gold is back this week and as far as the weather report goes out it's the same, sunny! The dawn patrol crew might have had a good surf with high tide around 6:30, hitting the inside double ups, but I know the guys that waited for the tide to drop scored. The mid-morning crew hit the lineup around 10 a.m. with Huntington Beach's Jack Boyes, Cameron Faris, Chris Waring and South African Travis Logie. The south wind did pick up and started to blow out the lineups around noon. Smaller tomorrow with a new swell filling in on Sunday.
