What season is this shoot for?
    Spring 2010
What are your key trends for this season?
Duet dresses, exposed zippers, bright prints, cinched waists, and handkerchief prints.
What are some key elements you think of when designing?
What a girl is going to feel good in and what is going to flatter her body.  We also look at colors and shapes that are in right now like the tulip dress we have.  We want to be on trend whether it's 80's or exposed zippers and we try to get unique prints and mix and match them in unique ways.  We want the girl to feel like she's getting her money's worth.  We do a couple pieces that come with a belt so it's kind of like a gift with purchase.  But that's not all that makes it worth the buy our pieces are also eye-catching and can work well from day to night.  The collection appeals to the trendsetters who aren't afraid to be daring and are willing to try something new.

What's one makeup tip you would pass on to young women?
Less is more.  Pick a feature you really like and focus on that.
A good day foundation?
Clinique has a great lightweight foundation called superbalanced makeup.  It works great for day or night because it's a lightweight base that's very natural and clean.
Recommendation for lipstick colors?
A favorite of mine is Clinique tenderheart.  It's a nude that works with every skin tone and has a little bit of gloss to it.  For a night look I like Mac O, it's got a berry undertone with a bit of gold shimmer, and again, it works great with every skin tone.

If a girl is going to an event where she knows her picture will be taken, can you give her any advise?
Hire a good makeup artist!  A girl knows how to look, what she considers her best, but a makeup artist really knows how to bring out key features that translate well to photographs.
Natural or posed?
Posed!  Practice smiling in the mirror and even practice some poses so that you can look polished and at your best in every picture.
