Beachgoers enjoy nice weather for early Earth Day celebration

If you missed out on last weekend's Earth Day beach cleanups, there's a few more coming up. Here's some info:
-Huntington Beach: Hundreds of volunteers will be coming out to the pier from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. All ages are welcome. Bags, gloves, and free parking will be available. For more information, call 714-536-5614.
- Doheny State Beach: The "Earth Day Campground Planting Project and Beach Cleanup" will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Meet at the campfire center at the campgrounds. Bring working gloves and a shovel, if possible.
