Adorable kids crying on Santa's lap

Telling Santa what you want for Christmas can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. Our Santa and Me contest from Vistaprint and OC Moms is under way, and we've got photos of kids who were less than happy - but still adorable! - sitting for their holiday photos with Santa Claus.

More about our Santa and Me contest

When: Through midnight Dec. 22.

Rules: Anyone can enter, but only kids from Orange County, CA, can win. Photos can be of your children or grandchildren with Santa (taken any time) or of you as a child with Santa.

How winners are chosen: There will be two winners, one chosen by online voting (you may vote up to 10 times per minute) and the other by our in-house judges.

The two winners and eight runner-up photos (four determined by votes and four judge’s picks) will be published Dec. 28 in the Life section and at ocmoms.com.

Participants who have won a Register contest within the past 60 days, and winners of the 2009 Me and Santa contest, are not eligible to win. Submitters to the contests must be 18 or older. No automated voting is allowed. If we suspect cheating, the entry will be disqualified.

Prizes: Each winner will receive a keepsake photo print package from Vistaprint worth $150, including:

  • A 26-page, hardbound photo book
  • An 11-by-8.5-inch photo wall calendar
  • A photo flip book
  • 10 holiday or thank you cards
