Waves, big names start to show at Vans Pier Classic on Friday

Day 3 of the Vans Pier Classic saw waves in the 6 foot range, much better then the opening two days of surf. With more size, power and speed coming through the pro's and pro jr's stepped their game up. With the top seeds surfing this morning Orange County had a good run of pros advance to surf tomorrow. Nate Yeomans as did Tanner G both moved through and still on a winning pace for the third day in a row Jason Harris and Christian Saenz once again showed that local knowledge is king. Tomrrow will have wave heights in the 8 to 10 foot range with a chance of rain.
