"Events like this make me feel better; there are good people in our community", said Singhmann, who is Sikh. "I feel like my faith is enriched when I hear about other faiths."

In La Habra, others huddled for the 30th Annual La Habra Mayor's Prayer Breakfast at the La Habra Community Center, where 500 people attended the early morning event that included former NFL quarterback Jeff Kemp as the keynote speaker.
