Loving Diane von Furstenberg's wrap dress
Diane von Furstenberg clearly understands women. And women's bodies. Why else would she have designed the wrap dress? I stopped by her new boutique - DVF - at South Coast Plaza during its opening day. Two of the sales staff were dressed in her iconic print wrap dresses - one in a long version - and they both rocked the look (the toenails painted in sherbet colors were TDF, too).
Wrap dresses = staying power. If you don't have one in your wardrobe yet, you're missing out on a must-have that you can pull out of the built-in closet 10 years from now and it's still going to look awesome.
So if you visit the boutique on the first level in the Saks Fifth Avenue wing, check out the wrap evening column in platinum - if no other reason than to drool - as long as no one has snapped it up yet for O.C.'s gala season.
