What goes up must come down, as was the case Thursday along the Orange County coastline. Surf was much smaller today than the past three days, and it's getting smaller. Not much is expected to show throughout the weekend, but on the good side, air temps are on the rise with an expected high of 78 by Saturday.
To top it off, offshore winds take hold tomorrow through the weekend, but with little to no swell, you might want to longboard yourself into a few shore barrels as you will find some of those with the winds. Monday, a new system moves in with waves going up to the 4- to 5-foot range. Let's just hope the wind sticks around until then.
