Even with multiple bands performing, the crowd Friday night at the Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen in downtown Fullerton was on the thin side. Opening act the Aeges and following band Dark Heavens gave mediocre performances in front of a lackluster crowd.
I Am Cassettes livened things up a bit with some on stage humor, upbeat tunes and one of the members showing off the face of Justin Bieber tattooed on his thigh. Fake Figures closed out the evening but were plagued by sound issues. It recovered well and managed to still put on a good show, keeping the crowd entertained.
