OC Fashion Week: “Emerge – Experience – Expose” Live Webcast
The Orange County Fashion Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing events and programs to educate, promote and support the local fashion industry and its emerging talent.
The OC FASHION WEEK : “Emerge –Experience – Expose†Summer Session, is a short series of summer events intended to seek out and launch new graduate talent discovered from the Orange County and Los Angeles County fashion designs schools this spring.�

The OC FASHION WEEK Runway Finale will feature the 2nd Annual OC Fashion House: Graduate Student Design Competition introducing new graduates from OC and LA Counties’design schools, each competing for the chance to show their debut collection at the next OC FASHION WEEK along with a highly prized summer mentorship with one of Project Runway’s most beloved and successful designers, Gordana Gehlhausen.
The night will begin with LOLA PAIGE DESIGNS an emerging OC women’s contemporary brand quickly winning young girls’ hearts with their vintage inspired light and airy Summer Collection.
Throughout the night, Gelhausen and her good friend Michael Costello, another acclaimed alumni designer from Project Runway’s Season 8 and the All Stars Season and “Life After the Runwayâ€, will be judging and announcing the winner of this student design competition as well as showing a taste of their new couture collections. Joining the competition are most recent graduate students from The Academy of Couture Art Los Angeles, Cal. State Long Beach, Long Beach College, Saddleback College and the Art Institute of Orange County.
During this exciting runway event, the web-TV series “DARK PROPHET†will present an exclusive screen premiere of its debut episodes. Already generating Hollywood buzz, “DARK PROPHET†is an original web and TV series following Dai Shepherd, an extraordinarily gifted, yet rebellious music student with time-traveling abilities that discovers that a government Intelligence agency, Black Box, has a catastrophic secret embedded in song patterns, but Dai is the key to saving the world as we know it. The series stellar cast is expected to make red carpet appearances among them: Henry Rollins, Josh Meyers(That ‘70s Show, MADtv), Rick Gonzalez (Old School, Coach Carter, War of the Worlds), Bill A. Jones (Glee), and rising stars, Chase Fein and Becky Lee Goodman.�
This event’s Mistress of Ceremonies will once again be model, actress and film director, Joell Posey, a fav’d spokesmodelof the OC FASHION WEEK.
Dominating Hollywood’s electro club scene, DJ Devine Elite will rock this OC FASHION HOUSE with his latest powerful house beats in the after-party.
