Weekends are for fun and Saturday's rain and fog along the coast was not going to stop weekend warriors from hitting the lineup. Newport Beach's 54th Street was firing in the morning hours and had a full lineup out there wearing booties, gloves and 4.3s. As the morning hours moved into afternoon, the playful 2' to 3' turned into wind-blown 1' to 2' sloop.
Another swell is on its way with some fun surf to hit again early in the week.
