Day 3 of X Games Los Angeles 2012
Big crowds, big air and hot wheels

On a day when gold medals were awarded in BMX Freestyle Park, Skateboard Park and Skateboard Vert, the biggest crowds were found surrounding an over-sized hot wheels layout. Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy set a new world record at the X Games by speeding through a 66 foot double vertical loop designed to look like a giant hot wheels track. As is the case with many world record events, the planning and construction took months but the actual record run took mere seconds.
X Games Los Angeles 2012 concludes on Sunday with medals being awarded in Rally Cross, Men's Skateboard Street, BMX Freestyle Big Air and Moto X Enduro.
