North Shore Winter: Haleiwa Reef Hawaiian Pro - day seven of the waiting period

1 of 22
The Reef Hawaiian Pro, the first stop to the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, called a lay day as expected with small surf on the North Shore, but there were a few places getting the last of this dying swell. Off the Wall was the zone today for some 2- to 3-foot surf and for the guys to get some water time.

North Shore Winter: Haleiwa Reef Hawaiian Pro - day seven of the waiting period

As expected, the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing's first jewel - the Reef Hawaiian Pro - did not run Monday, Nov. 19 because of small surf, but a few spots along the North Shore did suck up the last bit of this swell as it disappeared into the night. Tuesday will be another lay day for the Reef Hawaiian Pro with no real swell heading our way until Thursday-Friday.
