Orange County surf flat! So is Hawaii's North Shore, or what we call flat!
As the end of the world approaches in two days the Hawaiian's are getting their surf in, as Orange County sits under a flat spell, which for many really is the end of the world. I checked Lani's and Gas Chambers today to find locals and Brazilians who seem to be hanging around much longer than anyone else.
Caught John John Florence, Kiron Jabour and Koa Rothman out at Gas Chambers working on lefts and their air game in two foot Hawaiian waves, which would be about a four foot day in Orange County. The O.C. has been under a northern freeze and no waves for weeks now with little on the way until the weekend. So for you here are a few shots of 75 degree water, rainy 71 degree weather and 2 foot Hawaiian to dream about until the end of the world hits or lifts with the weekend swell.
