Salt Creek sunny but chilly beach day

The sun was out Thursday in Orange County, which for me was a very welcome sight. With the temperatures down in the 50's day time and low 40's evening, I'm very happy to see the sun out trying to warm me up from a Hawaiian Popsicle.
We have waves in the water, but with the winds being a big buzz kill for surfing you have to hit it early and at high tide swell spots. I hit Salt Creek later in the morning trying to time the tide and the winds, but I came up on the short end of things as the wind hit it earlier then I had thought it would.
More swell all week with a big one coming our way for the New Years. Keep your 4/3 wet suites and 4 mil booties ready, we might be having some real fun soon.
