Ex-'Housewife's' son arrested again

THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER

Just when it looked like the clouds were clearing for Lauri (Waring) Peterson's troubled son Josh Waring, he has found himself behind bars again.

It appears that Josh Waring was arrested Friday for battery on a spouse or significant other and false imprisonment, according to TMZ.com. He was taken to Central Men's Jail in Santa Ana where he is being held without bail until a hearing scheduled for Monday, April 26.

Lauri (Waring) Peterson is one of the original "Real Housewives of Orange County." Her trials and tribulations -- especially with son Josh -- were documented for four seasons, until the severity of Josh's legal troubles and drug addiction -- plus her desire for privacy -- caused her to bow out of the show in the middle of season four in 2009.

Josh is no stranger to doing hard time. In July 2009, he was arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia after deputies went to his home on a routine probation check. He served 30 days for that.

He was sentenced to 240 days in September 2008 for possession of heroin and Ecstasy with intent to sell. He was arrested after his mother found the drugs and called the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

In April 2008, he was arrested in a hit-and-run incident. According to the District Attorney's office, Waring was exiting the freeway near theI Irvine Spectrum at around 100 mph when he hit another car. While the victim was talking to witnesses, police say, Waring put the hood of his car up, ran to a friend's car, hopped in and drove off.

In the first season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Josh was in juvenile detention in Orange for an incident at school which involved possible marijuana possession.
