I awoke this morning to the sound of waves - which is always a good thing, and for me with a cloud cover that meant some surf.
I had to run my daughter around early before school this morning, the whole time looking at the sky hoping it would clear up, but not until the afternoon so I could get a sesh in.
I was in the water by 9 a.m. for what was a great time a few towers south of the pier. Like clock work, I was out and dry when the clouds gave way to the sun and Miguel Pupo and Josh Kerr were in the line up. As I shot from the pier, two whales and two dolphins cruised the line up checking on conditions ... not a bad day.
