Orange-based indie rock act Kiev debuted its stereoscopic 3D live performance on Tuesday night at Samueli Theater in Costa Mesa. Fresh off its Coachella debut, Menomena performed with the local act as part of Segerstrom Center for the Arts Indie Band Series.
Fans were impressed with how well the 3D element was choreographed with Kiev's performance. For its first attempt, Kiev's 3D show was a huge hit with the audience. The band also brought out two new tracks that got the crowd moving.
Menomena's set was good but even the bassist mentioned, "You guys will have to deal with us in 2D."
