Lonely Planet's Top 10 budget travel destinations
Lonely Planet travel guidebook site has just come out with its new list of top best value 10 budget travel destinations for 2012.
These are places that you may not have considered, but are great to visit and easy on the pocketbook.
Their list:
- Northeastern USA
- Japan
- Tajikistan
- Porto, Portugal
- Lesotho
- Iquitos, Peru
- San Francisco
- Ohrid, Macedonia
- Mekong Delta, Vietnam
- Merida, Mexico
I wouldn't consider San Francisco to be much of a budget destination, but they're valuing it compared to other top world cities.
