While Britian is all a buzz preparing for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee to celebrate 60 years on the crown in June, fashinistas can appreciate her style over the years.
Elizabeth Alexandria Mary was born in 1921 and came of age in the 40s - some of our favorite fashion years.
By 1952 she was crowned Queen of England at age 31 when her father, King George VI died. It's not as if fashion stopped happening for the Queen, but we rarely saw her in casual clothes after her coronation or with a care free smile.
