Runners hit the Forster Ranch Ridgeline Trail on Saturday for the San Clemente Trail Run 5K and 10K, helping to raise money for Family Assistance Ministries and the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation.
The routes twisted north and south of Camino del Rio in San Clemente, between Camino de los Mares and Avenida Vista Hermosa. About 110 people participated in the 5K (3.1 miles), and 130 ran the 10K (6.2 miles). Entry fees ranged from $30 to $40.
