Kids get in free to San Diego Zoo
From Friday (Oct. 1) until Sunday, Oct. 31, all kids ages 11 and under get free admission every day this month to the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. (They have changed the name of the Wild Animal Park to the Zoo Safari Park to avoid guest confusion).
These tickets normally cost $27! Sorry, adults aren't free, their admission still costs $37.

This is a great deal, especially because fall is an excellent time to visit, when it's cooled down a bit (we hope!) and the hordes of vacationers have left.
Fall hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
