Reset your body before Spring Break with Ritual Cleanse
Irvine-based Ritual Wellness offers a new way to detox
The month of March brings the temperate spring season that is often referred to the ideas of rebirth, renewal, and regrowth. Oh yeah, and the age-old tradition of spring break. Find yourself looking for a new diet to feel confident by that Cabo trip?
From the creators of Ritual Cleanse, Irvine-based Ritual Wellness offers a safe way to slim down that waistline with its juice cleansing programs. That's right, no food. Just juice.
Driven by their own health issues, founders Marra St. Clair and Lori Kenyon created a program that is certified-organic, non-toxic and eco-friendly. They also incorporated the convenience of having the chilled pre-made juices delivered to your door in compostable and biodegradable bottles and 100% recyclable and reusable coolers.
Unlike the typical “Master Cleanse” (aka the “Lemonade Diet”) that celebrities such as Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow swear by, Ritual Wellness offers different ways to “reset” your body with its Reset Cleanses.
(Thanks to Ritual Cleanse, we're giving a 1-day Reset Cleanse on our orangecountydotcom facebook page. Tell us what your plans are for spring or Spring Break. However long you decide to cleanse (1-10 days), the program is broken down into three options: the Classic Reset offers a lower sugar option, the Seasonal Reset has seasonal fruits and vegetables, and the Custom Cleanse has the option to mix and match. You can also add on the Shred component to any cleanse, which are two additional bottles that fuel workouts and aid for quicker recovery.
It all depends on a person’s lifestyle, but according to co-founder Lori Kenyon, the most popular program is the 3-day Custom Cleanse mainly taken as a “detox” after a weekend-long of partying.
Not looking for a cleanse, but simply a healthier way to live? Ritual Wellness also offers Daily Juices in four categories: Greens, Lemonades, Nut Mylks, and Blends. The Daily Juice option is to be combined with food to make it the most convenient way to supercharge your diet.
According to co-founder Marra St.Clair, Ritual Wellness provides “back to basics nutrition,” which is eating food in its most natural state unlike consuming “engineered nutrition” such as power and energy bars. “Not only can you see the difference, you can feel the difference,” says St.Clair.
What sets Ritual Wellness apart from other juice cleanses is the fact that every fruit and vegetable used is raw, 100% organic and cold pressed. By using all organic fruits and vegetables, the Ritual Wellness juices and cleanses have a higher percentage of nutrition and antioxidants that pesticides usually take away. The cold press process also reduces the amount of nutrition loss compared to how the heat from a normal juicer would. Ritual Wellness really truly stands by its mission that its products are “made from plants, not manufactured in one.”
So, whatever your plans are for spring break, whether it be a week of drunken debauchery or a week of renewing yourself, Ritual Wellness will lend you a helping hand – hangover or not.
