Last of the south swell at Lowers, with the boys leaving town

Summer has come to an end. Was it just me, or was this one long summer season?

The Hurley Pro wrapped up the last contest of the summer, but most of the boys were still in town and getting a last SoCal surf in before heading out this evening or tomorrow to France, the next stop on the WT.

John John Florance has been spotted all over the OC, at the Volcom Skate Park, Newport, Lowers, Ralph's just about everywhere.

As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, we are looking for our first north swell to hit Tuesday and Orange County should see 4' to 6' foot waves with San Diego shores getting up to 10'. I think a lot of the Orange County crews will make the trip down to SD County to try some size on.
