Villopoto wins again

AMA Supercross returned to the Big A on Saturday for the second time in 2012. Once again a capacity crowd saw Ryan Villopoto take the checkered flag in the Supercross main event. Villopoto beat rival James Stewart who finished second and had to win the last chance qualifier just to make it to the main. With the victory, Villopoto stands alone with two season wins followed by Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart who each have one victory in 2012.
Eli Tomac continued his domination of the AMA Supercross Lites West series with his third victory in five tries in 2012.
AMA Supercross heads to San Diego on February 11th for round six of the series.
