Wind blown Monday surf in Huntington Beach
Published: May 7, 2012 Updated: March 27, 2013 10:48 a.m.
Monday had a big group hoping for real fun size waves and clear skies - we were partly right. The sun came out around noon, waves were up, but that's not the whole story. The wind came up around 10 a.m. and blew out the day's surf. Combined with the swamp high tide into a +1.47 low tide, there was just too much water in the pool.
The extreme tides do have something to do with the Super Moon from this weekend. More surf tomorrow through the rest of the week.
