Online survey taking your thoughts about San Clemente beach trail

THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER

San Clemente is inviting people who use the city's Coastal Trail to take an online survey this summer about how they use the trail and what they think is right or not right with it.

The survey asks a dozen questions, including where users access the trail, how often, what sections they use and more. It also invites users to make comments.

You can find the survey at surveymonkey.com/s/BeachTrail. It will be active until Labor Day, Marine Safety Chief Bill Humphreys said in a report.

He said the survey is part of a review of current and future needs on the 2.3-mile trail, which links North Beach with Calafia Beach along San Clemente's coastal rail corridor.

Results of the review will be presented to city parks commissioners in the fall.
