MMA's 'Summerfist III' rocks OC Fair

COSTA MESA - After having their fill of deep friend Twinkies and gargantuan turkey legs, more than 2,100 Orange County Fair goers on Thursday made their way to the Action Sports Arena for SummerFist III.
And even though the six MMA bouts featured amateur fighters, there was no shortage of grit and action in the in the cage.
That's right. They set up the cage for this one.
Here are the results:
- James Distler of Lakewood won by tap out over Aliso Viejo's Jerimiah Maestro at 1:40 of round two of a welterweight fight.
-Matt Prince of Lakewood forced Alejandro Flores of Van Nuys to tap out at 1:04 of the first in a bantamweight fight.
-Ryan Barela of Tustin inserted a triangle choke hold on Anaheim's Mike Hansen, forcing Hansen to tap out at 1:04 of round-two of a 140-pound battle.
-Nikko Cateline of Long Beach won by tap out over Louis Sharples of San Bernardino at 1:57 of the first round of a 170-pound fight.
-Buena Park's Joe Magalianes won by a split decision over Rancho Cucamonga's Mike Green in a 173-pound bout.
-Eric Steans of Los Angeles forced Bradlee Crihfield of Lakewood to tap out at 57 seconds of round two.
