Tattoo community comes out to HB Tattoo in support of F-Cancer
The tattoo community came out in support of the F-Cancer fundraiser at HB Tattoo in Huntington Beach. As many as 50 tattoo artists came out to tattoo people nonstop for 72 hours with a preselected tattoo for $100. There were about 80 different tattoos to choose from.
Thomas Morgan of HB Tattoo said as of midday Sunday they had done around 150 tattoos and where looking to tattoo another 100 before the event ended, for right around $25,000 raised.
The F-Cancer nonprofit was raising the money in the name of Louisa Schaefer, also known as the Queen of Amsterdam, who is fighting cancer. Such artists as Luke Westman, Ben Greo, Hanky Panky, among others, tattooed for 72 hours straight. Also in support were Sancho's Tacos and RockStar, which sold food and drinks, with all proceeds going to the fundraiser.
