5 Places to Eat in Fullerton for $25 or less
Published: June 28, 2012 Updated: March 27, 2013 10:48 a.m.
If you are on a tight budget and live in Fullerton, here are some cheap, delicious restaurants you can visit.
For only $25, enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at these top five locations located in Fullerton.
Although it may be called George's Hamburgers, it's the breakfast burritos that will keep you coming time and time again. The thick cuts of bacon are complimented by the soft eggs and mouth-watering potatoes mixed within the burrito. But it's the ranch dressing that takes it's over the edge. Dipping the burrito in a side of ranch perfects the taste, so don't forget to order one. The overwhelming size of the burrito may make it hard for you to eat since everything slips down. Sharing half with a friend may be a good idea. Considered an almost legendary breakfast burrito by Fullerton residents, it only sets you back $4.10 plus tax.
Make sure you wake up early and get to George's Hamburgers before 11 a.m. (11:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays), when the breakfast burritos are available.

All it takes is one time to get you addicted. The Carne Asada fries, better known as the "Superfries," is definitely the specialty on the menu. Served in a regular to-go box, the Superfries contain delicious guacamole and salsa. Topped off with melted cheese, the fries don't taste like your typical side item. And although a little on the greasy side, the flavors are too good to resist, making it easy to devour it all before you even realize it. The amount of food served and prices is also one of the most satisfying factors. Best part of Mocasalsa you ask? It's open 24 hours, so get rid of your craving any time.

3. Moo Dae Po
Three words: Unlimited Korean BBQ. It offers fresh meat and other side dishes in the all-you can-eat menus. The all you can eat menus include variety of beef, pork and chicken. The variety of options include Teriyaki chicken, beef tongue, large intestine, beef brisket, bulgogi, beef and pork belly. There are also side dishes like steamed eggs, bean paste, stew and soontofu. I especially recommend the large intestines with their specialty sauce. The service is not that great but the meat quality is one of the best for Korean BBQ places. The interior is nice and bright with a clean environment. It's a place worth going for if you want to eat unlimited amount of meat on a budget.

4. Summit House
Come in for some of the best cuts of quality meat at affordable prices. The star of the show is the slow-roasted prime rib. Carved to every order, the prime rib is is sure to win even the most arrogant steak eater. The filet is also a favorite, served juicy and tender, and prepared with a peppery-yet-sweet sauce. Guests can choose their side dishes which options include potatoes, asparagus, straw onions, creamed corn, or creamed spinach. The straw onions can be very crunchy and taste better when mixed with the steak sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes are prepared perfectly soft and fluffy, with the garlic flavors making it a perfect pairing for your steak.
Another side dish is the onion soup, with a rich, heavy flavor and smooth texture. It is not as soft as the fillet, but is contains more flavor and is well cooked. The restaurant boasts a formal atmosphere, with dimmed lighting for a more romantic atmosphere. A definite go-to for romantic dates or special occassions.

5. Chomps
And last but not least, we have an all-you-can-eat sushi place. For $23, you can enjoy salad, soup, and a variety of sushi. Sushi options include salmon, tuna, squid, crab, California rolls and more. This place is a Teppanyaki-style restaurant, so the chef cooks in front of you. This makes for a very entertaining dinner. The fried rice with eggs, carrots, onions and soy sauce on teepanyaki are delicious dishes as well. The chef does some cool tricks while cooking such as making volcanoes out of stacked onions and flicking rice into your mouth. For birthdays, the chefs and cooks put on a show for guests by playing the drums with their knives.
Happy hour is Monday through Friday during 3 p.m - 6 p.m. It includes sushi, rolls, appetizers and drinks with prices ranging from $3-$6.
The restaurant can get pretty loud, so it's best for a fun night out with friends or family.
