The game is changing.

Where the Trail Ends, produced by Red Bull Media House in association with Free Ride Entertainment, is a film that sets out to redefine mountain biking, and will be screened in Laguna Beach at the Laguna South Coast Regency Theatre on Friday, Dec. 7.

The film is a culmination of three years of travel to areas such as Salta, Argentina, China's Gobi Desert, the Mustang region in Nepal, British Columbia's Fraser River, and Virgin, Utah.

Viewers will get a chance to see each rider's experience first-hand from start to finish, said professional mountain biker Darren Berrecloth.

"We went into regions almost entirely unknown. And we often never knew whether we'd succeed or fail, or worse," said Berrecloth.

If you look closely at the massive, mountainous landscape flashed across the screen you just might see a fading trail of dust. Look closer.

Straddled on a mountain bike and careening down mountains in some of the most remote regions of the world is freeride's top professional mountain bikers like Darren Berrecloth, Cameron Zink, Kurt Sorge, Andreu Lacondeguy, James Doerfling, and others.

Where the Trail Ends takes on various camera angles giving the audience different perspectives, from sweeping views of the landscape from inside a helicopter to a hands-free video camera strapped on a biker's helmet.

The story is a testament to the shift in freeriding and each mountain biker's pursuit to take big mountain biking to the next level.
