Fabio Viviani planning O.C. restaurant
While attending a Top Chef event held in Tustin today, I learned that Fabio Viviani plans to open a restaurant in Orange County.
Details are still sketchy, but Viviani said the restaurant will be located in the "Pelican Hill" area of Newport Beach. When asked to elaborate on the menu, he said: "It won't be a Chinese restaurant, that's for sure."
That's all we know. No word yet from property owner — The Irvine Co.
The ever-charming Italian Top Chef contestant operates Italian restaurants in Moorpark and Toluca Lake. He was voted "Top Chef Fan Favorite" by viewers during Season 5. He recently opened a restaurant in Chicago.
