We might know what happened to Melody Malone...

orangecounty.com

Some of our friends over at volcom.com sent this to us earlier today... We're not saying this is 100% fact... But if we were TMZ, we would call this breaking news..  Apparently Tosh Tosh, (who has been writing our OC Style Section) is Melody Malone.?!??...  See the story at Volcom's "What Happened To Melody Malone"

We found some pictures online and her whole confession on Volcom.com/girls

A lot of talk has been going on about Volcom’s Melody Malone campaign….  And before people find out I thought I’d come forward and say, yes it’s true, I am Melody Malone.  Or more truthfully, Melody Malone is one of the many characters I have been forced to play over the years.  She was the first of the many roles I was to play through out the 80’s and 90’s.
When I first ditched the LA scene it was because I met Mr. Chin, who promised me the world and in many ways fulfilled that promise.  I had to train to be a secret agent, I studied karate and kung-fu, learned to be a master at numchucks and shurikens (better known as ninja stars).  I trained hard and became the ultimate fighting machine, and since my body was in the best shape of its life, Mr. Chin, sent me on a mission to scope out the underground group of killer models.  I rose to fame in no time but when the mission was complete I had to move on.  I continued to crack big missions like the trailer park drug lord scene and the Bollywood child trade.  Going from the fields of Arkansas to the streets of Bombay I numchucked my way through justice.  Every assignment was exciting and I was racking in the dough… but then I met Tiga (pronounced Tiger)…  He was the owner of huge fashion magazines and his constant fashion parties and get-togethers made me yearn to be famous once again….  But I was older and my time had past, so I did the next best thing, by entering the fashion world.  I started working for Tiga, reviewing the fashion shows in New York, London and Milan.  I put together photo shoots with the best of the best, and for a while I was satisfied…  But the call of California was ever growing stronger … until one day I packed up and kissed Tiga goodbye.  I can still see the red lipstick mark I left on his forehead and the sheet of photo-booth images we took at the Carnivale in Venice….
I came to Cali, and with all my international experience, within no time I found a job.  Fashion has since been my life, ok yes everyone in a while I still do the occasional spy job, but fashion is my passion and that’s why I write for Orangecounty.com. I have had many names through out my life, and many looks to compliment them, but I’ve always wanted to give back in ways other then just catching the bad guys.  Melody Malone was the first of my many aka’s and her moments in fame will always stay close to my heart.  But, for now I am content being known as Tosh Tosh, and happy writing my little OC Style column on Orangecounty.com.
