Weekend to have great weather and better surf

The sun came out around noon Friday and should stay out for most of the weekend as a high pressure front moves in. Summertime will be in full swing this weekend in the OC with sun and waves, yes I said waves.
It has been just about a month since we have seen any swell headed our direction, but today a SSW has moved in and it will be staying with us most of the weekend. Surf to reach the 3-to 4-foot range in north county, but south county will see 4 to 5 with a few 6' in the mix. Get on it early as the south winds will be on it by midday. Today was a wind blown day with no one out but the sand was full of summertime life.
