A new generation of entertainment is flowing out of Chapman University's Dodge Film School
If you're looking to attend film school, there is a great resource right here in Orange County. A myriad of alumni from the college have gone on to do work with CBS, NBC, Sony, Fox, Dreamworks, Paramount, Universal, and Disney. Chapman has world class production facililities that allows students the opportunity to concept, produce, write, direct and edit their creative visions on the best equipment available.
As opposed to many film schools, the students at Chapman actually own the intellectual properties of their own work. Not only that, but the faculty itself is composed of seasoned film professionals that have either written, produced, directed, or filmed many famous projects that are pretty well known ("Superman II", "Saturday Night Fever", "Bladerunner", etc.).
"Film is the literature of the century." This is one of the main paradigms that propels students to their acheivements at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. The school's Bachelor and Master programs (teaching everything from screen acting to film production) focus on "the business of the business" and creative storytelling. Students have the opportunity to work with cameras on day-one of their education and are encouraged to collaborate with the many different facets of film production that the school has to offer.
With $11 movie tickets and $7 boxes of candy at the local theatre, the movie industry needs some more creative minds adding to the creative mix. If you're considering entering the business, definitely consider Chapman's film school.
