It’s not easy being a celebrity. Sure, there’s the love and accolades, but what if you got a bum haircut?
It happened to Cameron Diaz, Page Six reports.
“There was a little misunderstanding. I said I just wanted a little bit cut off and it went from here to here,” Diaz told Jay Leno on Tuesday, raising her hands to her ears. “It was one of those moments where … I just burst into tears.”
Seems that Diaz has her hair cut by a friend. And over the holidays, that friend got a little too enthusiastic with the scissors.
“I felt so vulnerable. For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair. Oh my God,” Diaz said.
The tears – all around – followed.
“I yelled at her, I screamed at her,” Diaz said. “No, she felt really bad. I felt really bad. She started crying. I started crying.”
