Uggie the dog to pen memoir
Uggie the dog to pen memoir
Every dog has a tale. (Well, OK, some have stumps, but …)
Uggie, the Jack Russell terrier who appeared in the Oscar-winning “The Artist,” has inked a book deal with Simon & Schuster. The memoir, “Uggie: My Story,” will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of the company.
The presumed tell-all, unknown sources say, will include scandalous stories gleaned from sniffing Hollywood fire hydrants.
Having neither opposable thumbs nor a word program on his computer, Uggie will dictate the memoir to biographer and barking linguist Wendy Holden.
Uggie's other films include “The Descendants” and “Water for Elephants,” so look for the doggie dish on George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon and others.
