Lindsay Lohan to host 'SNL'
Our favorite celebrity is finally going to give her acting chops some exercise.
Lindsay Lohan actually got a gig. She’ll host “Saturday Night Live” on March 3, NBC announced over the weekend.
TMZ reports that Lohan reached out to the show’s executive producer, Lorne Michaels, and asked for the opportunity, hoping to “kickstart her comeback.”
It will actually be Lohan’s fourth time hosting the late-night comedy sketch show. She hosted in 2004, 2005 and 2006, before she had a criminal record.
Sources tell TMZ that Lohan feels that doing “SNL” again will remind people that “she's an actress ... not a defendant.”
Which seems kind of optimistic, since you know they’ll have her appear in a courtroom sketch, a rehab sketch, a women’s jail sketch, a morgue duty sketch, a posing for Playboy sketch and …
The show will write itself.
