Lindsay Lohan finally finds a co-star
Lindsay Lohan has found her Richard Burton, and just in time.
As readers of this column know, Lohan will play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie called “Liz & Dick,” scheduled to begin filming in June.
But until now she had no co-star. Friday it was revealed that Grant Bowler (of “True Blood” fame) will take the Burton role.
Some folks seemed excited about it. E! News called Bowler a hunk and “abtastic,” referring to his six-pack abdomen.
Producer Larry Thompson also got a little hot around the collar.
“We had seen (Bowler) on tape and liked him but wanted to confirm the chemistry between the two,” he told E! News.
“But this morning we had Lindsay and Grant come into a room at Lifetime and the chemistry exploded. It was just Fourth of July firecrackers going off in the room. We knew from the chemistry that Liz and Dick live again.”
Take a deep breath, Mr. Thompson.
