Home invasion hoax at Miley Cyrus'

Miley Cyrus was the apparent victim of a prank called “Swatting.”
Or her home was, which is good enough for our purposes.
TMZ reports that Los Angeles Police received a 911 call shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday that warned of a possible home invasion at Cyrus’ humble abode.
North Hollywood police told E! News that they responded to a call for a kidnapping and shooting on the premises.
Police officers swarmed, surrounding the perimeter of the abode with guns drawn. A chopper circled overhead.
But no one was home and no signs of a crime were found.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that they believe the call was a prank and if they find the person who made the call he or she will be charged.
