Promoting his yet unreleased album “Ninth”, due out June 7th, Murphy and his band rocked a 22-song set that included “Time Has Got Nothing To Do With It”, “I’ll Fall With Your Knife”, as well as his classic hits such as “Cuts You Up”, “Marlene Dietrich’s Favorite Poem” and “A Strange Kind of Love”.

Playing for more than over two hours, Murphy did an amazing version of his good friend Trent Reznors’ “Hurt”. In a more touching moment, Murphy thrilled his adoring fans with up-close, between song chatter, going as far reading one fan’s letter, and even giving one lucky young girl his necklace at the end of the show. Overall, an impressive and satisfying show and here’s hoping he’ll make a return to Southern California later in the year.
