Newport's 'A' Restaurant hosts Directors Social with NBFF

'A' Restaurant in Newport Beach hosted the 2012 Directors' Social, in association with the Newport Beach Film Festival, on Wednesday evening , May 2nd. With a packed house and restaurant owners in attendance, including director McG, Mark McGrath, Chris Brigandi and Stan Frasier, the evening celebrated filmmaking, community, and creativity -- with an impromptu acoustic performance by two of the attending directors.
Guests enjoyed a variety of signature appetizers from 'A' executive chef, Jonathan Blackford, and desserts by 'A' Market culinary director, Shelly Register. The evening also recognized the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, with McG presenting a $10,000 donation check to Ethan Wayne on behalf of 'A' Restaurant.
