Rihanna reunites with Chris Brown in duets
What’s the deal with Rihanna, anyway?
Two new duets hit the Internet this week. Both of them involve Chris Brown, her former boyfriend who beat her up in 2009, thus becoming her former boyfriend.
Brown sings on the remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” and she’s on the remix of Brown’s “Turn up the Music,” both released Monday.
Brown tweeted a link to the new version of “Turn up the Music” on Monday, and Rihanna later retweeted it. She also tweeted about the remix for “Birthday Cake.”
Last year, a judge eased a restraining order on Brown after Rihanna’s lawyer said she didn't object to removing the stay-away provisions. The restriction was reduced to 10 yards (from 50) if the pair were at a music industry event.
Brown also tweeted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN” (Robyn is her real name) to Rihanna, who turned 24 on Monday.
A representative for Rihanna said she had no comment.
