Just how creative can a kid be? Stop by San Clemente's Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens and see.
For the ninth year, Casa Romantica is putting painting, drawing, ceramics and photography from San Clemente students on display in an exhibit titled "Tomorrow's Artists Today." It opened Friday and continues through May 31 at 415 Avenida Granada, showcasing the works of more than 400 students from San Clemente High School, Shorecliffs Middle School and Bernice Ayer Middle School.
On opening night, participating students and their parents and teachers previewed the exhibit, which is part of this year's Orange County Imagination Celebration, a series of events this month and next.
Also, the San Clemente Art Association announced four high school seniors who will receive $1,000 scholarships – Evelyn Hernandez, Melissa Fernald, Tate Murphy and Sabrina Brown.
