Brett Simpson joined the World Tour in 2010, and is now in the middle of his second year competing against the world's best surfers. He's going into the U.S. Open of Surfing as two-time defending champion. It's the sixth year he's done the U.S. Open, and he's definitely considered a favorite among fans.
