BeachFire restaurants close for remodeling as sale awaits

Shortly before noon Wednesday, a time when people normally would be gathering at the popular BeachFire restaurant in downtown San Clemente, the premises were quiet, having closed suddenly. Owner Dave Donaldson said he expects the restaurant to reopen under new ownership following a 30-day remodeling.
