KOBE BRYANT did what he wanted offensively in scoring 38 points, many with people like Arron Afflalo guarding him closely. He also ran downcourt and blocked a breakaway by Al Harrington, leading to a basket that held the Nuggets at bay. Bryant went 15 for 29 in the game but was one for seven in the fourth quarter. Bryant has been to the foul line 18 times in the two games and looks fresh.
