Alfred Molina relishes 'role of a lifetime' in L.A.

Before he played painter Mark Rothko on stage, Alfred Molina wasn’t a fan of the cranky and uncompromising Abstract Expressionist.
“The only fact I knew about Rothko is that he was famous in the 1950s and that he killed himself,” Molina said.
