Romance writer Sylvia Day, originally from Orange County, is the author of the popular "Crossfire" series of erotic romance fiction. She was also on the New York Times trade paperback fiction list back in November when the second book in the series "Reflected in You" sold 100,000 copies in its first week. Her first book, "Bared to You," is an international bestseller.
